Corewell Health Ludington Hospital
Windemuller played a central role in the $4.9 million Cancer & Hematology Center project at Corewell Health Ludington Hospital, serving as the electrical subcontractor for a 30,000 square-foot addition. The project transformed the former emergency department into a modern, patient-focused care facility featuring over 30 private rooms and expanded fusion bays dedicated to holistic therapies. The work was completed in four phases to ensure the hospital remained fully operational throughout construction.
Our team was responsible for the full electrical scope, including demolition, new switchgear, panelboards, lighting and controls, fire alarm, heat trace, cable tray, and branch power. The biggest challenge was executing the large-scale remodel in an active healthcare environment. Collaboration with staff and trade partners was critical to ensure secure access and minimize disruptions. This was achieved through phased scheduling. The result was a modern, functional, and safe space that supports patient care and hospital operations delivered with the quality Windemuller is known for.
