Paradise Cove Campground Upgrade
Paradise Cove is a popular waterfront restaurant, marina, and campground located on Lake Leelanau in Traverse City. After receiving a recommendation from our partners at Cherryland Electric, Paradise Cove contacted Windemuller to provide electrical service upgrades on their property. Due to the seasonal nature of the business, Windemuller was given a short timeframe to complete the electrical work in time for the Memorial Day weekend opener. Our team kicked off the project right away.
Overview
Paradise Cove’s main priority was to get service fed to their new campground pedestals. Windemuller was in charge of disconnecting and removing the old site pedestals and installing 13 new wooden posts with six-circuit panels that included breakers. Due to supply chain issues, the pedestals were not going to arrive in time for opening weekend, so Windemuller took matters into our own hands. On top of completing the trenching and 400-amp underground service, our team produced all the pedestals ourselves to ensure the job would be completed on time. Windemuller and Paradise Cove had great communication throughout the entire project and overall, they were a fantastic partner to work with. The Windemuller crew’s hard work paid off and Paradise Cove opened Memorial Day weekend just as they had planned, with full electrical hookups for campers.
