Hackley Pharmacy Electrical Upgrades
• Contributed to complete interior remodel of Mercy Health Pharmacy Hackley
• Completed electrical work on new lighting, fire alarms, and outlets
• Overcame challenges with material shortages throughout the COVID pandemic
Overview
Founded in 1903, Mercy Health is a non-profit health care system serving Grand Rapids, Muskegon, and the surrounding communities. Located at the Muskegon campus, Hackley Pharmacy was looking to revamp their interior space. Hackley envisioned changes that included new interior walls and lighting, all new flooring and ceiling, as well as unique finishes throughout the facility. Windemuller was brought in to perform the electrical work on new lighting fixtures, outlets, emergency lighting, and fire alarms.
This project flowed smoothly for the Windemuller team despite experiencing hardships with the ongoing supply chain issues. As a result, we had to adapt and perform extra lighting work. Despite the inconvenience, our crew combatted the setbacks while managing to meet the project deadline. In part due to our ongoing consistent communication, Mercy Health and the general contractor were understanding and fueled the team with support. The pharmacy is now fully operational and we’re proud to have been a part of an upgrade for the healthcare workers and their patients.
